As a Partner and Head of the Business Services Department I am responsible for ensuring that we deliver high quality legal advice to our business clients.
I gained my law degree from the University of the West of England in 2002 and was admitted as a solicitor in 2007. I joined Thomson & Bancks in December 2013 and became a partner in July 2019.
I have, throughout my legal career, specialised in commercial property and business affairs. Before qualifying as a Solicitor, I helped run a distribution and wholesale business, so I have commercial nous as well as a wealth of legal experience that informs my advice to clients.
I would be happy to provide legal representation for you in a range of matters including:
- buying and selling commercial property
- developing property for commercial or residential use
- leases of commercial property
- transferring property to you SIPP / SSAS pension fund / leasing it back
- setting up your business including drafting your partnership / shareholder agreement
- selling or restructuring your business
Feel free to contact me to discuss your needs or to arrange an introductory meeting. I am a big believer in picking up the phone to discuss issues and I am never a slave to email!
Away from the office I enjoy the Great Outdoors and conquering the odd mountain. I am a trustee of a music charity, Soundworld, which promotes the teaching of contemporary classical music composition in schools.
