Jemma offers the following support from Stratford-upon-Avon:
Services for Individuals: Lasting Powers of Attorney, Probate; Administration of Estates, Trust; Creation & Application or Wills & Inheritance Tax Planning.

I first joined Thomson & Bancks Solicitors in October 2006 as a trainee and later completed my Law Degree at Staffordshire University. I qualified as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives in June 2011 and have since obtained additional Probate Practice Rights enabling me to undertake reserved legal activities.

After a period away from the firm, during which I worked for a corporate company in Bristol, I returned with valuable experience in complex probate matters – including high-value estates and intricate intestacies. These experiences strengthened my practice and deepened my understanding of sensitive legal issues.

I was appointed an Associate of the firm in July 2022 and was proud to join the Partnership in July 2025.

Over the years, I’ve worked across all our offices in Stratford-upon-Avon, Pershore, and Tewkesbury, developing strong ties to the local community and businesses.

My practice focuses on the administration of estates (both testate and intestate), Powers of Attorney, Deputyship applications, Wills, tax advice, and legal matters affecting elderly and vulnerable clients.  I am a Dementia Friend through the Alzheimer’s Society and a full member of The Association of Lifetime Lawyers (formerly Solicitors for the Elderly).

Clients often describe my approach as professional, approachable, and empathetic. I strive to make complex or emotional issues as straightforward and stress-free as possible.

Outside of work, I enjoy trail running and spending time with my husband, our two young children, and our whippets in the Cotswolds – a part of the world I’m proud to call home.
