I graduated with an Honours Degree in Law in the last century and have been qualified for the best part of 40 years. After working for major law firms in London and Birmingham I joined the practice in 1992 and am now part of the furniture!
I became the first female Partner of Thomson & Bancks in 2001 and was Head of the Private Client Department for decades. My partner Sarah Ingles has now kindly taken over this role. I am down to earth, practical and a problem solver getting the job done whatever it may be, big or small. Being from Northern Ireland, I call a spade a spade, am known for knocking heads together and keep a magic wand in my handbag to deal daily with what arises! I bring to my clients straight talking and experience in both the property field and in my principal areas of work including complex Wills and Estate Administration, Powers of Attorney, Tax & Trusts. The word “App” gives me the shivers and both red tape and procrastination drives me mad!
Outside of the office I am mum and wife, rugby widow, enjoy a G&T and when time allows enjoy sailing the open seas!
