Crossing the finish line: A day to remember at the Cheltenham Tri Festival 2026

What a day! On Sunday 13th September, our very own Claire, Jack and Holly took on the swim, cycle and run legs of the Cheltenham Tri Festival at Cheltenham Lido – and we couldn’t be prouder of what they achieved.

A huge congratulations to the whole team for taking part, and a massive thank you to everyone who came down to cheer them on, volunteered on the day or donated in support of Sue Ryder. Despite the rain, the atmosphere remained brilliant, with plenty of support and encouragement from everyone involved. The weather certainly didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits!

Behind the scenes, our finish line crew were kept busy handing out goody bags, medals and t-shirts, removing timing chips and generally making sure every participant crossed the line to plenty of encouragement and applause. Meanwhile, T&B Solicitor Partner John Stagg took to the mic as MC, announcing each and every finisher and keeping everyone entertained with his, shall we say, questionable choice of music!

As proud sponsors of the Cheltenham Tri Festival for the past four years, it’s always fantastic to see the event bring the community together and raise vital funds for such a brilliant cause.
