Supporting our local community: Thomson & Bancks returns to the Cheltenham Tri Festival

Four years of supporting the Cheltenham Tri Festival

For the fourth consecutive year, we are proud to support the Cheltenham Tri Festival at Cheltenham Lido.

The event has become a highlight in the local calendar, bringing together participants, families, supporters, volunteers and local organisations for a day of swimming, cycling and running – and plenty of community spirit along the way.

Thomson & Bancks are proud sponsors of the Cheltenham Tri Festival

Supporting local events is an important part of Thomson & Bancks’ connection with the communities it serves, and the Cheltenham Tri Festival is a great example of this.

From those taking on their first triathlon to experienced participants looking to challenge themselves, the event brings together people with different goals and abilities, all with the same sense of achievement and determination.

Over the years, we have been delighted to support the event and see it continue to grow as part of the Cheltenham community.

And while the focus is very much on the participants on the day, events like this don’t happen without the organisers, volunteers, supporters and local businesses who get behind them.

Looking ahead to 13th September

This year’s Cheltenham Tri Festival takes place at Cheltenham Lido on 13th September 2026, and we are delighted to be supporting the event once again!

If you are taking part, cheering someone on or simply enjoying the atmosphere, we hope it’s another fantastic day for everyone involved.

Good luck to all the participants – we are looking forward to seeing you there!
